Preventive Maintenance
Leather Maintenance
When acknowledging the cost of reupholstering and aircraft down-time, it pays to implement a maintenance program to extend the life of your leather. Starting with an assessment of the quantity of usage within your interior. We have the capability to develop a program that will best serve you to keep your interiors looking great. The maintenance depends on the amount of traffic the leather will have to bear. Usage differs widely from aircraft to aircraft.
The cleaning and touch ups within the maintenance program are for leathers that are still in good condition, showing some signs of usage such as worn spots and stains. The leather is first deeply cleaned to remove airborne contaminates. Touch-ups includes removal of stains, minor holes and abrasions. A color enhancement may be required for various high use areas. The higher used areas are defined as: the arms, the aisle facing backrests and seat cushions.
